Terms and Conditions

George Perrin Coaching Workshop Series

Last updated: October 2025

Welcome! We've tried to make these terms as straightforward as possible. Please read them carefully before booking—by purchasing a workshop, you're agreeing to everything below.

1. About These Workshops

These terms apply to all workshops offered by George Perrin Coaching (that's "we", "us", or "our"), including the eight workshops in our 2026 series: Unleash Your Voice, Shape Your Brand, Shift Your Career, Define Your Leadership, Start Your Coaching, Master Your Time, Navigate Your Conflicts, and Simplify Your Strategy.

By booking a workshop, you ("you" or "participant") agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't book.

2. Our Happiness Guarantee

If you're not completely satisfied with your workshop experience, we'll refund your money. Here's how it works:

  • You must request a refund within 7 days of the workshop date.
  • Email us at george@george-perrin.com with your booking details and feedback.
  • We'll process your refund within 14 business days.
  • No questions asked—we just want you to get value from our work.

Please note: This guarantee applies to the live workshop only. Once you've accessed the recording, downloaded materials, or attended the session, standard consumer rights apply but our guarantee still stands.

3. Recording and Use of Content

What gets recorded

All workshops are recorded for the benefit of participants. Here's what you need to know:

  • 90-day access: If you've booked the workshop, you get 90-day access to the recording.
  • Your participation: By attending, you consent to being recorded (audio and video if your camera is on).
  • Promotional use: We may use excerpts from recordings, testimonials, and workshop materials for marketing purposes—including on our website, social media, and promotional materials.
  • Editing rights: We reserve the right to edit recordings for clarity, length, and quality.

Opting out

If you don't want to appear in promotional materials:

  • Keep your camera off during the session.
  • Let us know in advance by emailing george@george-perrin.com.
  • We'll make sure your contributions aren't used publicly (though we can't edit you out of the full participant recording).

4. Workshop Etiquette

To create a great learning environment for everyone, we ask that you:

Do:

  • Join on time and stay for the full session.
  • Keep your microphone muted unless speaking.
  • Use the chat function for questions.
  • Be respectful, curious, and supportive of fellow participants.
  • Test your tech before the workshop starts.
  • Find a quiet space with stable internet.

Don't:

  • Record the session yourself (we'll provide the recording).
  • Share your access link with others.
  • Disrupt the session or other participants.
  • Share other participants' information without permission.
  • Use the workshop for commercial purposes or competitive intelligence.

5. Participation is Interactive—But Voluntary

Our workshops are designed to be hands-on and collaborative. You'll be invited to:

  • Share insights in small breakout rooms.
  • Try exercises and frameworks.
  • Ask questions and contribute to discussions.
  • Practice new skills in a supportive environment.

But here's the thing: participation is always voluntary. You're welcome to observe, take notes, and engage at whatever level feels comfortable. There's no pressure to share personal information or speak up if you'd prefer not to.

6. Chatham House Rule

We follow the Chatham House Rule in all our workshops:

"Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed."

What this means:

  • Feel free to share ideas, insights, and frameworks from the workshop.
  • Don't share who said what, or identify other participants.
  • Respect everyone's privacy and professional context.
  • What's shared in the workshop stays confidential in terms of attribution.

Exception: You're welcome to share your own experience publicly and tag us—we love hearing how you're applying what you've learned!

7. Booking, Payment, and Cancellations

Payment

  • All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
  • We accept Visa and Mastercard.
  • Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
  • You'll receive a confirmation email with your workshop details and access link.

Our cancellations

If we need to cancel or reschedule:

  • We'll give you at least 14 days' notice where possible.
  • You'll have the option of a full refund or transfer to another date.
  • In exceptional circumstances (illness, emergency), we may give shorter notice.

Your cancellations

  • Refund requests made 7+ days before the workshop: full refund minus 10% admin fee.
  • Refund requests made less than 7 days before: subject to our Happiness Guarantee (see section 2).
  • You can transfer your place to someone else at no charge—just let us know.

8. Mailing List and Marketing

By providing your email address—whether booking a workshop, joining our waiting list, or subscribing to updates—you agree to receive communications from George Perrin Coaching and LVL/UP Studio.

9. Your Privacy Matters

We take your privacy seriously. We collect your name, email, payment details (via Stripe), and workshop engagement data. We use this to deliver the workshop, process payments, and improve our services. We share data only with trusted partners like Stripe, Zoom, and Mailchimp for operational purposes. We never sell your data.

10. Intellectual Property

All workshop content, materials, and frameworks are owned by George Perrin Coaching and protected by copyright law. You are welcome to use the frameworks in your own work but may not reproduce, sell, or redistribute our materials.

11. Liability and Disclaimers

Workshops are for educational purposes. We do our best to provide high-quality content but can't guarantee specific career outcomes. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the workshop.

12. Changes to Workshops and Terms

We reserve the right to modify workshop content or these terms with reasonable notice. Your continued use of our services after changes means you accept the new terms.

13. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the workshop for competing purposes, share others' personal information, or disrupt the learning environment. Violation may result in removal without refund.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. We're committed to resolving any issues informally first.

15. General Terms

These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, represent the entire agreement between you and George Perrin Coaching. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

16. Questions or Concerns?

If you have any questions, please email george@george-perrin.com.

By booking a workshop, you confirm that:

  • You're at least 18 years old (or have parental consent).
  • You've read and understood these terms.
  • You agree to be bound by these terms.
  • The information you've provided is accurate and complete.

Thank you for trusting us with your professional development. We're looking forward to seeing you in the workshop.
